Dear all,

I’ve done some thinking over the last couple of weeks and have come to the conclusion that it’s about time I shift the focus from Me to My Life.

This change in combination with being a creative polymath with the belief that it’s as much about leaving things out — as musicians work with pauses, designers with white space and poets with silence — and the insight that the best things in life don’t tend to make it to the internet; will now result in a massive decrease in social media activities — a so called social media detox. I don’t know for how long. But definitely for a noticeable amount of time.

In my case, social media is primarily Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Instagram. So these are the services I will from tomorrow cease from using.

I won’t delete the accounts. So I will still receive messages and might use my protected Twitter account to some extent.

I will continue to write this journal.

Today marks a new day.
Wish (or Like) me luck.
