It’s rather sad that not getting paid is such a common problem… is this a problem in all sorts of creative and craft related services? It’s also rather sad that the only current working solution seem to be contracts.

The hectometer freedive

On December 13, 2010, William Trubridge became the first human to dive completely unassisted to 100 meters (one hectometer) with a single breath of air and only his hands and feet for propulsion. The world record was set in Dean’s Blue Hole, Long Island, Bahamas.

Out of the box

Out of the Box is the result of a year long research project lead by Clara Gaggero and Adrian Westaway of Vitamins Design in collaboration with the Helen Hamlyn Center and Samsung Design Europe.

A lovely idea, but probably not the most practical solution. More info on the project can be found on Clara‘s and Adrian‘s website.
